We provide a transparent remuneration protocol
design to establish credibility and long lasting relationships
with our clients. Fees are usually shrouded in secrecy in many
industries but we are clear with our clients from the outset
to ensure that any barriers to achieving mutual trust and cooperation
are eliminated.
Billing
We usually raise monthly invoices based on project
agreements or time engaged. It is our express policy to provide
a complete breakdown of charges with all fee accounts. Our fees
are payable within 30 days of a payment request unless otherwise
stated.
Fixed Fee
At times clients want surety from a fee basis so that they can
budget effectively and benchmark according to the particular
service being provided. Fixed fees are often useful in cases
where the commitment and time engaged can be reasonably estimated.
Once a fixed fee has been agreed this will not change unless
specifically with the consent of our client.
By Time
Typically time engaged fees are appropriate for short term projects
or where the nature of the work makes it inappropriate for a
fixed fee to be charged. When working on a time engaged basis
we make an estimate of the time required for any project together
with a clear indication of the hourly rates appropriate to the
personnel involved. We also keep clients fully up to date on
all time spent through full time sheets explaining activity
and time engaged.
Success Fees
Typically we are engaged on a mixture of a fixed fee combined
with an incentive to provide clients with the surety that we
are taking their work seriously and motivated to achieve the
best possible result.
We are unable to provide service on an incentivised basis where
our opinion as a expert is required as this would be a breach
of our professional ethics.
Our success based work is usually driven by transaction which
include acquisition and disposal of commercial property, negotiating
rent reviews and new leases and in reducing property costs through
business rate appeals or dilapidations advice.
In all these cases the precise agreement would be agreed in
advance stating clearly the success and fixed fee element of
our proposal.
In all cases fees are quoted net of VAT and disbursements.
Disbursements
We typically charge for the following in addition to
agreed project fees: • Travel • Accommodation
• Bought in expenses • Refreshment when traveling
overnight
We do not charge for secretarial or administrative services
and all expenses are generally agreed with the client before
being incurred. |
